Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?Hello! :)
My name is Teelin and I own this online shop that I named KleyLand. It is actually an extension of another online shop, Tisyert (which my best friend, Rochell, and I opened in 2007) as it offers various handmade accessories made from polymer clay. I officially opened KleyLand on May 2010 under Tisyert's Facebook Page and launched it separately in Facebook (as an account and a fan page) on September 2010. Here's the story: The polymer clay thing started when my aunt brought me a set of oven baked clay all the way from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2006. I made key chains and miniatures and give them out as gifts. Then on, I started researching online on where to buy these kind of clay here in the Philippines. I saw that they're available at Hobbes and Landes but I can't afford them since they're way to expensive. My daily allowance isn't enough for me to save up for such. I gave up at that time so we just started another business instead - Tisyert! We design and silk screen print orders we got from our Multiply shop and also from our friends. :) We graduated from college and started to work in an office then I later decided to resign after 9 months. Being a "tambay" for few months, I need a new source of income so a light bulb popped up for no reason. I did my research again and found that someone online is selling these colorful babies for less than a hundred pesos! OMGOMG! I immediately ordered a bunch of different colored bars and a sampler pack to start and practice again. So I watched tutorials and read tons of blog posts, bought books, hoarded tools and supplies. I made a few samples which my mum and friends loves so much. She even bought them and asked me to do commissions for her. I posted them online and huwalah! KleyLand is born! *yay!* So that's much about it! ^_^ Happy claying, everybodeeh! Hart hart. ♥ PS. Here are some of the video tutorials that helped me a lot *CLICK ME!* |
